My dad always said that no one person can make a great project on their own. But my dad always stressed the importance of looking ahead and planning for the future - in fact, he often never looked back! It's essential to have a long-term vision and constantly strive to improve and grow. In the fast-paced world of TV and film production, it's easy to get caught up in the present and focus solely on what needs to be done right now. Here are 5 lessons that my father taught me (or that I have learnt since his passing) that have stayed with me through my journey so far in the entertainment industry: Much of the time this learning was by osmosis or are things I have learnt since his passing. I didn't always get these lessons direct. Growing up as the son of legendary producer Gerry Anderson, I was fortunate enough to be able to learn from one of the great entertainment innovators of the 20th and 21st centuries.
